Capaul, Mary Jane (24 SEP 1960)

The marriage of Mary Jane Capaul and Robert J. Hadlicki took place on Saturday morning, Sept. 24th, 1960 at 10 o’clock at the Holy Cross Catholic Church at Cornell, Wis.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Capaul of Cornell and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hrdlicki of Jim Falls.

For her marriage the bride chose a white taffeta gown fashioned with a fitted bodice, long sleeves and nylon lace yoke accented with viedescein and high neckline.  The bouffant skirt was detailed with nylon lace and iridescents and fell to a cathedral train.  Her silk illusion veil was caught to a jeweled crown and white carnations, red roses and stephanotis made her bouquet.

Her attendants, Rita Roth of Cadott and Darlene Woebbiking of Cornell wore gowns of Jadette green taffeta with scoop neckline, puff sleeves and the very full skirts were fashioned with a bustle back accented with a velvet bow.  They wore matching picture hats and carried cascade bouquets of colored mums, carnations and ivy.  Their crystal necklace and earrings were a gift from the bride.  The flower girls, Debbie Roth and Linda Hrdlicki wore full white taffeta dresses, with Jadette green sash and matching headband.  They carried baskets of colored mums, carnations and ivy.  Their pearl necklaces  were a gift from the bride.

Attending the groom were his brother Ben Hrdlicki and Paul Peterlik of Jim Falls, Wis.

A breakfast for the wedding party and relatives was served in the parish hall immediately after the ceremony.  Later the couple greeted friends and relatives at a reception at the Bohemian Hall and a dance was held at the Pike Lake Pavilion in the evening.

On their return from a trip to Canada they will be at home on a farm near Jim Falls.
