Don’t look as though spring was coming very soon, by our snowstorm.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pizer and family took Sunday dinner at Patno’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Smith and family spent Sunday at John Pizer’s.

 

The Young People’s Alliance of Spokeville held their business meeting at Mr. Henninger’s of Heathville Friday evening.  A large crowd and a good time was reported by all.

 

Mrs. John Patno Sr., Mr. and Mrs. George Ives took Sunday dinner at John Patno’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lem Curtiss and family, Ruth Carter, Ray Vogel, Norman Rowe spent Tuesday evening at John Patno’s.

 

Neil Kidd, Milton Boyde, Ad Albaugh took in the temperance lecture at Chili Tuesday evening.

 

Mr. A. Reuth of Heathville arranged to ship some cattle Monday morning at Romadka.  As the train did not come, he had to bring them home on Tuesday.  He will try his luck again next Monday.

 

A surprise party, given in honor of Lem Curtiss Saturday evening was well attended, considering the bad weather.  A good time was enjoyed.
