Mrs. F. Steinberg went to Marshfield Friday, where she will undergo another operation.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Radtke of York spent Sunday at John Dudei’s.

Mrs. Augusta George of Wabasso, Minn., came Wednesday to visit her brother Erich Schoenherr Sr. and other close relatives.

Little Christine Christensen accompanied her aunt, who was visiting , back to Rose Lawn on Thursday.

Tehre was a feather stripping bee  at the G. Mallig home Wednesday.

Mrs. Leonard Schultz and three of her children left Saturday for Norwalk to visit her parents.

Albert Hemp and wife and son Richard visited Sunday afternoon at Ferdinand Grap’s.

Mrs. August Storm of Marshfield visited her sister, Mrs. Hugo Klauer and several friends here last week.

A surprise party was given Otto Kalsow in honor of his birthday on Friday evening.

Mrs. Gus Grap returned Saturday from Neillsville, where she underwent a successful operation some weeks ago.

Emily Parisius is here from Minnesota to visit her parents, Rev. and Mrs. W. Parisius.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer is ill with bronchitis.

Mrs. Chris Christenson is getting along nicely at this writing.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Mallig visited Sunday at Ernest Hemp’s.

Edgar Grap is working at Clinton.

The directors of the Clark County Butter Co. met Saturday and it was decided that in order to keep their patrons, both butter and cheese be made in the creamery after April 1.

John Thoma is sick with diphtheria.  Dr. Monk is attending him.

The Weston brick school closed Friday for a month’s vacation.

Bertha and Martha Quast spent Sunday with Laura Klueckman.

Arthur and Frank Thoma are staying at the Herman Kunkel home and doing the work at home while the rest of the Thoma family is under quarantine.

Arnold Dudei visited Sunday afternoon at the home of his uncle, John Dudei.

Gus Kuhl is hauling milk to the Globe Cheese factory north of the store, for several farmers around here.
