VICTOR BERNA DIES AT THE AGE OF 85

Victor Berna, 85, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, at 4:15 Saturday morning. Death was caused by complications resulting from a fall at his home on Thursday.

Mr. Berna was born in Alsace Lorraine, Germany, May 1 1873. For the past ten years he has lived with his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Feldt. The family moved to the former Paul Stumke farm in the town of Loyal last August.

His body was brought to the Myre Funeral Home Saturday and on Sunday was taken to Woodstock, Ill., where funeral services were held in St. Mary's Catholic Church on Tuesday morning, with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.

His wife preceded him in death.
