Lindner, Andrew (1894-23 NOV 1958)

 

While in a hunting camp near Park Falls, Andrew Lindner, 64, a supervisor of the town of Loyal was stricken with a heart attack. He was taken to the hospital in Park Falls where he passed away on Monday night.

 

His body was broght to the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood where it will lie in state from Wednesday evening until the time of services. A general rosary will be said at the Funeral Home on Thursday nigh at 8 p.m.

 

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood with Fr. Hartung officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

 

Andy Lindner was born in Millston, Jackson County, in 1894. While a youth of 16 he came with his parents to the town of Loyal. He was married June 23, 1920 to the former Catherine Eries and following their marriage the couple resided at their present home in the town of Loyal. The deceased was a member of St. Mary’s, Greenwood, Holy Name Society and for the past 12 years a supervisor.

 

Surviving are his wife and eight children: Robert and Andrew Jr. of Muskego; Vincent, Loyal, and Thomas, at home; Mrs. Glen (Rita) Stuart, Glidden; Mrs. Mike (Joan) Hughes, Marshfield: Mrs. Eugene (Theresa) Merkel, Marshfield; and Carmen, St. Joseph’s School of Nursing; 19 grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters.

 

Preceding him in death were his parents Mathias and Anna Lindner, a daughter Lucille; one sister Sr. M Simona who passed away November 7, 1957 and five grandchildren.
