Neillsville Locals (14 July 1966)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Leon, Jackie and Randy, of Santa Clara, Cal., were supper guests Monday at the Wallace Erickson home.  Mrs. Leon is the former Joan Bender.

 

Gary, Jeddrey and Karan Swiedo of Burlington have been spending the last week visiting cousins in the Neillsville area.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wysocki and four daughters have returned to Madison, Ala.  Mrs. Wysocki and daughters had visited in Neillsville since Memorial Day.  She also visited her parents in City Point.

 

Guests from Tuesday to Friday at the Rev. E. G. Burtness home were the Rev. and Mrs. Walter Wang of Fergus Falls, Minn. Mr. and Wang and Mrs. Burtness are brother and sister.

 

Larry and Sharon Olson of Calvary Lutheran Church are attending a leadership training school of the Northern Wisconsin District of American Lutheran churches in Minneapolis, Minn.

 

Guests Friday and Saturday at the Milo Mabie home were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Holt and family of Arlington, who also visited his sister, Mrs. Bob Wilsmann and family.  The Holt family, formerly of Neillsville, has moved to Arlington, where Mr. Holt has been assigned as a state traffic officer.

 

Rollie Babcock of Coffeyville, Kans., is spending several weeks with his sister, Mrs. Celia Poole, and plans to attend a reunion of the 1912 graduating class of Neillsville High School, the date for which has not been set.

 

Mrs. Russell Poertner and Mrs. Nancy Rouss of St. Louis, Mo., left for home Tuesday after spending several days at the George Poertner, Tom Yndogliato and Mrs. Frances Sollberger homes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth McCarr of Columbus, O., visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Elliot Warlum.  Mrs. Adrian McCarr and daughter and Mrs. Bertha Wiesner of Eau Claire, had been guest at the Warlum home the week before.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Price Owens, Sr., of Withee, were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Elsie Senger.  In the afternoon Mrs. Senger and her guests attended military graveside rites in Augusta for Harry Hets.
