Arp, Anna (Emma?)#4(23 SEP 1884 - 24 AUG 1949)


Funeral services for Anna Arp were held on Sunday from West Beaver Church. Rev. Leo Chapman of Neillsville officiated. Burial was made beside her son, Leo, at Riverside Cemetery near Withee. She died on Thursday at the Neillsville Hospital.


Anna Gelhaar was born in Scott County, Iowa, on September 23, 1884, the daughter of Adolph and Elissa Gelhaar.


On November 11, 1903, she was married to Emil G. Arp in Scott County. In 1912 they moved to the town of Beaver, where they have made their home since. Her husband survives.


Also surviving are a son, Charles, who lives at Tollhouse, Cal., and two daughters, Mrs. Erwin Marden (Ethel) of Neillsville and Mrs. Kenneth Dyre (Leora) of Greenwood. A brother and a half-brother and nine grandchildren also survive.
