Mrs. Fred Handtke and daughter Frances were over Sunday visitors at the Geo. Wilding home in Neillsville. The ladies are sisters and both had a birthday anniversary on the same day, April 15.

Mrs. F. Sternitzky returned Tuesday from a several days visit with rleatives at Dorchester.

Oscar Jahr has a new Ford car home since last week.

The Leo Chapel family moved on the M. Ehrhardt place last week.

Mrs. H.J. Pietenpol spent several days with her daughter, Mrs. Art Berg, last week.

Clay Converse help Lue Smith haul his potatoes to market Monday.

The Dale Lee family spent Sunday at his brother Ara’s.

Howard Erwin, wife and daughter Beulah went to Spencer and made an over Sunday visit with his mother at that place.

Mrs. Kin McInnis spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Francis McHone.

Mrs. Geo. King spent several days last week with her sister, Mrs. Ara Lee.

Mrs. Vint Lee came over from Neillsville Friday and stayed until Sunday. Vint drove over after her with the auto.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Jahr and Ed Jahr were Sunday visitors at Oscar Jahr’s.

Miss Clara Wilke, with several scholars, attended the contest Friday afternoon. Selma Scharf won third place in several branches.

Vera Pietenpol and Lulu Beecher spent Friday with Mrs. Arthur Berg.

Florence Converse spent several days helping her sister Mrs. Chapel getting moved.

Ben Erwin came down from Loyal and spent Saturday with old friends.

Maude Smith and Elsie Kempin and Mrs. Noble Downer were callers at F. Johnson’s Sunday.

Lawrence Davis led an exploring party in the woods of East York last Saturday, then lost heart and compass, and became separated from the aforesaid party. However, they found themselves and Granton that evening.
