Neitzel, Sandra Lee (Marriage - 3 June 1967)

Yellow satin bows marked the pews of Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity for the wedding June 3 of Miss Sandra Lee Neitzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Neitzel of Unity, and Boyd B. Plummer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Plummer of Granton. Nuptial vows performed by the Rev. Robert Sutherland, were repeated before an altar graced with bouquets of gladioli and carnations on either side.

One hundred ninety guests witnessed as Mr. Neitzel gave his daughter in marriage.

The bride appeared in a floor length gown styled with a full skirt of Peau de Soie lace. The back of the dress was complimented by a detachable train. A fitted, lace bodice enhanced the lace gown. Her bouffant illusion veil was secured to a pearl-trimmed lace and floral cluster headpiece.

Mrs. Harold Utke of Curtiss was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Janice Plummer of Marshfield, Mrs. Ronald Post of Marshfield and Miss Carol Gottschalk of Unity. The attendants wore apricot sheath-styled formals of chiffon, styled with lace bodices. A Watteau panel, attached to the back waistline, was accented with a bow. Their matching floral cluster headpieces held pouf veils. Each carried a basket of white carnations and apricot pompons.

Charles Plummer of Marshfield was bestman. Groomsmen wee Ronald Neitzel, Ronald Post and Harold Utke. Rodney Neitzel and Arlyn Utke were the ushers.

Carrying the rings on a white pillow was Mark Utke. Dawn Krug served as the flower girl.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Plummer are employed in Spencer.
