Ebben, Mr./Mrs. Delton (Silver - 20 OCT 1963)

Several relatives held a surprise party at the Delton Ebben home on Sunday evening in honor of their 25th anniversary and Mrs. Ebben’s birthday.

The evening started off with a bang!! Yes, a chivari with noise makers and the works. Next the crown presented a mock wedding. Mr. Peter Moskewicz acted as the bride, his wife Ceil played the groom, the flower girl was Mrs. Clay Ebben, Norm Seidling, son-in-law of the honored couple was her partner and Rich Boie played the role of preacher. An enjoyable evening of cards and socializing followed. The couple received many lovely gifts, one of them being a beautiful anniversary cake baked by Mrs. Clay Ebben.

As the night came to a close the following people wished the Ebben’s many more years of happiness together.

The following were in attendance: Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Primeau and Mr. and Mrs. Manny Firnstahl, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sneen of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Norm Seidling of Chippewa Falls; Mr. Matt Benzschawel and Mr. Joe Moskewicz, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dulek, Mr. and Mrs. rich Boie, Mr. and Mrs. Clay Ebben, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Ebben, Mrs. Clara Ebben and Mrs. Mary Benzschawel, all of Thorp. Unable to attend the occasion were two of their seven children, Dale, a student at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and Dean, a member of the United States Air Force, stationed in Idaho.
