Mrs. Emma Oatman went to Marshfield Wednesday.

Mrs. Weist came up from Marengo, Ill. on Tuesday to see Mrs. Waite Wilcox, who ahs been very ill, but at present is on the gain.

Quite a few from around here went to Camp Douglas on the excursion on Sunday.

The Beil’s are painting on the schoolhouse.

Muriel Brooks ran a pitchfork in her foot last week, which laid her up so she could not step on it, but is getting better.

Fred Hill and family autoed to Tioga Sunday.

Mr. J.P. Dawes and wife and several others from Strong’s Prairie autoed up Tuesday for a visit at Mrs. Hetty Dow’s.

Mrs. Nettie Greene’s father and mother came up from Marengo, Ill. Tuesday to visit her for a short time.

A young man from Milwaukee is staying at Mrs. Mary Fischer’s. He is on the lookout for work. He is an orphan and willing to work. Anyone wishing help would do well to hire him.

Jason Phillips and wife, Glen Snow and family, Lindsey Clark and family, all were entertained at Deck Phillips’ last Sunday.

Nasonville Aid will give an ice cream social Friday evening at Nasonville Hall. Everybody is invited to come. Ice cream, cake and crackers will be served on Friday evening, Aug. 17th.

Otto Rupno, Paul Baler and Aug. Bealer autoed out to Lidgerwood, N.D., last week in A. Bealer’s car.

Roy Breseman, Irving Dow and others went on the train out west.

Mrs. Paul Bealer and three children visited Mrs. Otto Rupno Sunday.

A letter from Karl Hill tells how he has been enjoying the measles lately.

Nasonville Aid meets with Mrs. Ed Eastman Aug. 22. Everybody is invited to come in the afternoon.
