Augustine, Fred (16 MAR 1891 - 11 MAR 1963)

Fred Augustine, 71, of Colby, died Monday morning about 6 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, of complications of old age.

Funeral services will be held today, March 14, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Green Grove with the Rev. Jerome Wohifield officiating.

The body lay in state at Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby, beginning yesterday morning.

Mr. Augustine was born in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co., Wis.) and lived his entire life on a farm near Atwood, except the past two years, which he spent with his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Augustine of the town of Green Grove.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Mr. Augustine, who is survived by three brothers, John of the Havenet Nursing Home, Owen; Albert of Colby; and Ernest of St. Paul; and one sister, Mrs. Alfred (Sophie) Burkhardt of Thorp. He was preceded in death by a brother, William, and a sister, Ida.
