Dan Timerson delivered a load of hogs to Neillsville last week Tuesday.

Quite a few of the young folks from West York attended the dance at Christie Wednesday night.

Mr. Joe Alton was the guest of Dan Timerson’s the past week.

Wm. O’Brien cut corn stalks for Abram Vande Berg one day last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Abie Turner made a trip to the county seat, Saturday.

The Ladies Aid at Sadie Rowe’s was largely attended and $4.00 was taken in.

Ye scribe was on the sick list last week.

Forest Rowe cut corn stalks for J. L. Parrett, Wednesday.

Last Tuesday evening a large crowd of the neighbors dropped in and gave Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lawrence a pleasant surprise. It being Mrs. Lawrence’s birthday. The evening was spent in playing games. Refreshments were served and all report a jolly good time.
Mrs. Edna Lawrence was the guest of Mrs. Wm. Rowe, Friday.

The Woodmen will give an oyster supper at the Woodmen hall, Friday night, February 16. A cordial invitation is extended to all.

A. P. Fulwiler and family, E. G. Rowe and family, and Melvin Lawrence spent Monday evening at Wm. Rowe’s in honor of Mrs. A. P. Fulwiler’s birthday.

The Basket Social in district No. [missing] Wednesday eve was not very largely attended, although a goodly sum of money was taken in. Proceeds were $12.05 which will be used to purchase a new desk.

A number of the scholars in dist. No. 2 are entertaining the chicken pox.

Winn and Dubes sawed wood for A. C. Turner, Tuesday.

Fred Heibel was in this vicinity, Sunday.

A few of the young folks spent Saturday evening with Mabel Turner and helped her celebrate her birthday.

Rev. Kildow was called to Ohio last week by the severe illness of his mother. There were no services at the M. E. church Sunday.

Dan Timerson and Horace Lawrence hauled baled hay to Granton, Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Davis were called to Rib Lake one day last week to attend the funeral of Mr. Davis’ brother-in-law.

Ed. Voigt drove to Granton Wed. with a load of grist.
