Pleasant Ridge (11 MAR 1915)

About 140 sat down to dinner at the Aid last Wednesday. Mr. Carter, George and Arlo Huckstead and Geo. Swann each bought a sleigh load from Neillsville. All had a jolly good time and the proceeds were about $22.

School meeting at Bert Huckstead’s Monday was well attended. J. Randall, Mr. Korth and Bert Huckstead were elected as building committee. On March 29th another meeting will be held to select plans.

O.E. Counsell and Arlo Huckstead and wives spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wilding.

Mrs. Joe Counsell and Miss Bradbury spent Thursday with Mrs. Lon Huckstead.

Mrs. Dinah McCarl spent last Tuesday with Mrs. Otis Slocomb.

Miss Mary Bradbury of Neillsville spent part of last week at Joe Counsell’s.

Mr. Wall and family of Loyal spent a day of last week at Jim Hughes’. Mrs. Wall and Mrs. Hughes are cousins.
