Hagen, Karen Rose (Marriage - 14 October 1967)

A double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Karen Rose Hagen of Rt. 1 Greenwood, and William Norman Selves of Neillsville, was solemnized Saturday in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Immediate family members witnessed as the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff performed the nuptial ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagen of Rt. 1 Greenwood, and Mrs. Robert Smukal of Neillsville and the late Forest Selves.

For her wedding the bride chose a white floor-length satin gown. A white shoulder-length veil was held by her headpiece. She carried a bouquet of yellow rosebuds.

Miss Diane Becker, her maid-of-honor, wore a yellow satin floor-length dress. Her bouquet was an arrangement of yellow rosebuds.

John Rychnovsky was bestman for the groom.

One hundred guests attended the reception held at Wild Cat Inn.

On their return from a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, Mr. and Mrs. Selves will reside at 517 Hewett Street, Neillsville.

The bride, a 1967 graduate of Greenwood High School, is employed in a grocery store in Neillsville. Mr. Selves, a 1963 graduate of Neillsville High School, is engaged in body shop work in Neillsville.
