Earnest Albert Laabs (11 Aug 1909 – 2 Sep 2006)

Earnest Albert Laabs, 97, of Senatobia, Miss., formerly of Fertile, Minn. (and Curtiss, Wis., the son of Albert K. E. and Mary Laabs), died Saturday, September 2, 2006 at the Quitman County Hospital in Marks, Miss. Mr. Laabs was born August 11, 1909 (in Clark Co., Wisconsin) and was a retired Road Construction Worker. Ernest was united in marriage to Muriel A. Sulerad Labbs on March 27, 1937 in Gary, Minnesota. To this union three children were born. Survivors include one daughter, Mavis Hermodson of Eau Claire, Wis. and two sons, Donald E. Laabs of Savannah, Ga. and Jerold A. Laabs of Senatobia, Miss. Mr. Laabs had seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
