Afkend, Marten #2 (13 AUG 1876 – 09 APR 1963)
Marten Afkend, 66, Dodgeville, father of Mrs. Louis Edwards, Loyal, died last
Tuesday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire. Funeral services were held
Saturday at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Dodgeville.
Mr. and Mrs. Afkend lived in Greenwood from 1910 until 1953 when they moved to
Dodgeville.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. May Little, Eau Claire; Mrs.
Louis (Ruby) Edwards, Loyal; a son, Donald Afkend, Neillsville; 10
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
