Kurth, Diane C. (7 SEP 1963)

Miss Diane Carol Kurth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kurth, Medford, and Donald Robert Wibben, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wibben, Colby, exchanged marriage vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 1963, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Medford. The Rev. R.E. Aden officiated at the ceremonies.

"O Perfect Love" and "The Lord's Prayer" were selections sung by Mrs. Robert Retzer, soloist, accompanied by Miss Barbara Aden, organist.

Mr. Kurth presented his daughter in marriage before tha altar. The bride was attired in a white nylon gown styled with a scoop neckline adorned with embroidery and seed pearls. The bouffant skirt had an embroidered panel down the front and back, with a large flat bow at the back. The skirt ended in a chapel train.

The bouffant bridal veiling was secured to a headpiece of orange blossoms and ripple organza.

The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and white chrysanthemums with streamers attached.

The matron of honor, Mrs. Melvin Blank, Medford, and bridesmaids, Miss Bonnie Wibben and Miss Donna Herrick, Colby, wore street length dresses in candy pink, fashioned with bouffant skirts and scoop necklines. Attached at the center neckline was a rose with a floating panel to the hemline. The blusher veils were caught to a fabric rose and each aides carried a basket of pink chrysanthemums and white daisies.

Melvin Blank, Medford, was the best man, and Larry Kurth, Medford, Jerome Ohlinger, Colby, the groomsmen.

Ronnie Karstens and James Viegut, Colby, were the ushers.

The reception was held at the American Legion Hall, Medford, and a dance followed that evening at the Sportsmen's Park Pavilion in Colby.

Mr. Wibben graduated from Colby High School in 1960 and is employed at Harmony Co-op, Produce in Colby. Mrs. Wibben, a 1963 graduate of Medford High School, has been employed in the office of Weather Shield Aluminum Products.

Out of town guests were from Racine, Milwaukee, Ladysmith, Colby, Portage, Waunakee, Appleton, Catawba, Kennon, Abbotsford, Owen, Wausau, Marshfield, Curtiss, Stratford and Dorchester.

The newlyweds will make their home in Colby following a wedding trip to Niagara Falls.
