Leu, Anna (7 MAR 1889 - 26 SEP 1963)

Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Leu, 74, of Abbotsford, who died at her home in the town of Hull (Marathon Co., Wis.) Thursday morning, Sept. 26, 1963, were Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby.

The Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiated and burial was made in the town of Holton Cemetery.

The former Anna Baronsky was born March 7, 1889 in the town of Holton in Marathon County. She was educated in local schools, and her marriage to Albert Leu took place on April 1, 1913, in Abbotsford.

The couple spent most of their life together in the town of Holton and town of Hull with the exception of a few years when they farmed near Medford. For the last 15 years they have lived on a farm in the town of Hull.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Leu is survived by two sons, Chester of Abbotsford and Eugene of Route 2, Colby; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Bernice) Bargenquast of Abbotsford and Mrs. Carl (Audrey) Hardrath of route 1, Colby; a brother, Frank Baronsky, Abbotsford; five sisters, Mrs. William (Mary) Westphal of Abbotsford, Mrs. Clarence (Rose) Klieforth of Abbotsford, Mrs. Reinhold (Elizabeth) Schaefer of Abbotsford, Mrs. Joseph (Gabriel) Laski of Withee and Mrs. Joseph (Josephine) Strike of West Allis; and 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

One child, who died in infancy, and two sisters preceded her in death.
