ALICE F. CARRIGAN/HARVEY P. VERHULST MARRIAGE


Alice F. Carrigan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Carrigan of DePere, R. 3, Wisconsin and Havey P. Verhulst, son of Mrs. And Mrs. Peter Verhulst of Greenwood, Clark County were united in marriage Saturday Sept. 22, 1927 at 10:00 o'clock at the Bethlehem Lutheran Parsonage by the Rev. H. H. Wegner.


The bride wore a gown of flesh colored georgette crepe and lace and carried a shower bouquet of roses, baby breath and white lark spur. Attendant of the couple were Sadie and Harold Carrigan, sister and brother of the bride, both of DePere, Hattie Verhulst, sister of the groom of Greenwood, and Robert Lange of Milwaukee.


The bridesmaids wore pastel shades of orchid and green taffeta and wore corsages of roses, sweet peas and baby breath.
After the wedding the guest were served to a wedding lunch at 12:00 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson, 1440 So. 9th Street, Sheboygan, Wis., after which the bride and groom, with their attendants left for Moaling, where a wedding dinner was served to over thirty guests at 6:30, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Carlson. The evening was spent in dancing. Lunch was served a a late hour after (The rest of my copy was cut off)
