Herrick, Florian G. (? - 1999)

Florian G. Herrick, 85, Colby, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at his home. He owned and operated Herrick Service in Colby until his retirement in 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella (Scherr) Herrick; two daughters, Donna (Jerome) Ohlinger, Ladysmith, and Patricia (Duayne) Towle, Schofield; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jack (Emma) Herrick, Afton, Minn., Edward (Hazel) Herrick, Bossier City, La., and Charles (Mildred) Herrick, Greenwood; and five sisters, Mary Steward and Lucille (Harold) Hawley, both of Surprise, Ariz., Francis (Dean) Murphy, Marshall, Ill., Donna Smith, St. Paul, Minn., and Joan Noah, Greenwood.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Colby. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Community Funeral Home, Colby, where there will be a ladies rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish rosary at 8 p.m.
