After their marriage, they settled on a dairy farm in the Town of Longwood, Clark County. They retired from farming in 1968. Eileen then began work as a Nurse's Aide at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, in 1972. She worked in the health care field at the Health Care Center until 1991. Eileen's hobbies over the years were many. Including reading, embroidery, and all kinds of sewing.
