Knuth, Ryen Christ-Charles (4 December 1981 – 3 December 2020)

Ryen Knuth, age 38, of Neillsville, WI died Thursday, December 3, 2020.

Ryen Christ-Charles Knuth was born on December 4, 1981 in Marshfield, the son of Ralph and Colleen (Mortenson) Knuth. He attended and graduated from Neillsville High School in 2000 and then worked at various places including Nelson Filter and Wallace Woodstock.

Ryen was an avid rock collector, and he enjoyed basketball, softball, cooking, fishing and hunting. Most of all, though, he was a loving father, who enjoyed spending time with his children.

He is survived by three children, Makayla Knuth, Anthony Knuth and Colleen Knuth all of Neillsville, his father, Ralph (Kathy) Knuth of Augusta, sisters, Colisha Knuth of Rochester, MN and Cristal Knuth of Ellsworth, step-siblings, Krissa (Shawn) Hoffman of Augusta, Josh Knuth of Augusta, and Kara Carr of Chippewa Falls, and then mother of his children, Nellie Blackdeer of Neillsville.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Colleen Knuth, his maternal grandparents, Robert and Carol Mortenson, his paternal grandparents, Don and Barb Knuth and aunts, Sherry Dusso and Elaine Knuth.

Funeral Services for Ryen will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Dale Hazard of Augusta will officiate. Interment will be in the Town of Levis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Gesche Funeral Home.

Casket Bearers are: Ben Basswood, Josh Knuth, Jesse Blackdeer, Marty Cooper, John Paul and Waukon Blackdeer.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
