Colby, Guy (Jul 1892 – Sep 1910)
Guy Colby, the eighteen-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Colby of the Town
of Reseburg, who was taken to the State Home at Chippewa Falls but a few weeks
ago, died at the institution on Saturday last of bronchitis. While still an
infant he suffered from an attack of scarlet fever, the disease leaving him a
helpless invalid ever since. The remains arrived here on Tuesday for burial, the
funeral taking place on Wednesday afternoon from him home in the Town of
Reseburg. (Thorp Courier)
Note: burial was made in the Sylvan Cemetery in Town of Reseburg.
