Mrotek, Elizabeth “Beth” Ann (15 June 1972 – 15 December 2020)

Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Mrotek, 48, of rural Curtiss, passed away at home on December 15, 2020 in the loving care of Lannie Tomczak (partner) and Aspirus Hospice Services due to cancer.

Beth was born June 15, 1972 to David Mrotek and Susan Mrotek Zimmer. Beth had a wonderfully complex attitude and was always willing to help any friend or family in need. Beth’s personality was compassionate, loving and bigger than life.

Beth loved helping any animal that “followed” her home. She later found a knack for cooking and baking. She enjoyed going to as many concerts that she could, fixing and talking about cars. Beth worked as a Manager of food service at Colby Retirement Community. She enjoyed chatting and listening to the residents tell stories. Beth had two children, Yukon Tomczak and Torrie Ann Tomczak (deceased).

She is survived by her partner of 30 years Lannie Tomczak; her mother: Susan Zimmer; her son: Yukon Tomczak; her granddaughter: Charley Elizabeth Maves; and her sister: Heather Malueg.

She is preceded in death by her stepfather: Jeff Zimmer and her daughter: Torrie Ann Tomczak.

Family and friends may express condolences online at www.maurinaschilling.com.  The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
