What’s the matter with Adolph?” asked a lady customer of our reporter Tuesday
morning, as she emerged from Rossman Steiger Company’s Store.
“He seemed to be quite frustrated and was determined to give me 10 yards of
granulated sugar and 5 gallons of dress goods.”
“Oh! You should not mind that this morning, lady,” replied the reporter, “you
see, Mrs. Schwarze just presented him with a bouncing baby boy, and Adolph is
just overflowing with exuberance and excitements, I was just going in to
congratulate him.”
Both mother and child are doing nicely and the Gleaner, among other friends,
extends heart congratulations.
