The railroad business transacted at this station at the Spencer station for the month of March is as follows: Freight forwarded, 2,853,513 pounds; Local, 344,915 pounds. The freight received foots up, 529,105 pounds; Local, 110, 566 pounds. The receipts for the station show $1,316.77 for freight, and $764.40 for tickets. This is one indication that there is a vast amount of freight moving, and a great many people “riding on a rail.”
