Klemke, Frieda (1906 - 1983)


Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 12, 1983, for Mrs. Albert (Frieda) Klemke, 76, of Route 1, Unity, Town of Green Grove.

Mrs. Klemke died at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 9, 1983, at her home.

Officiating at the service at South Green Grove Church, was Rev. Roland Rakow. Burial was in the Loyal, Clark County Cemetery.

Frieda C. Dubois was born on Sept. 17, 1906, at Allendale, Mich. She was educated at Allendale Schools.

On Oct. 17, 1931, she was married to Albert Klemke at Muskegon, Mich. after their marriage, they lived in Michigan and farmed. In 1948, they moved to Wisconsin, where they farmed in the Town of Green Grove until 1960.

She was a member of South Green Grove Church.

She is survived by her husband two dons, Loren of Duluth, Minn. and Larry of Colby one step-daughter, Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Daneffel of Grand Rapids, Mich. one step-brother, Arthur Dubois of Grand Haven, Mich. one step-sister, Mrs. Lillian Schmidt of Grand Haven, Mich. eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dubois one brother two sisters one daughter-in-law, Kris and one daughter, Leona.

Serving as pallbearers were Elmer Schuette, Dennis Witt, Harlan Witt, Jack Molle, Henry Molle, and John Pfalgraf. Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.
