Funeral services for Oscar Brandt, 80, of 109 Stafford, Apartment 16, Greenwood, Clark County, were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 1984, at Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood.

Mr. Brandt died early Sunday morning, May 27, 1984, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.

Officiating at the service was Rev. James Cooper and Charles S. Saletri. Duane Brandt, Randy Tomlinson, Art Wehrman, Harold Wehrman, Robert Worden and Richard Kenzeler served as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Oscar Brandt was born on March 18, 1904, in the Town of Beaver to Louis and Alvina (nee Rossow) Brandt. He received his education at Beaver and Gorman Schools.

On March 16, 1927, he and Ione Berrett were married. After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Beaver. He later worked for Clark Electric for 23 years, retiring in 1969.

He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife one son, Nyle of Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Romelle) Tomlinson of Waukesha one sister, Mrs. Helen Wendtland of Colorado Springs and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents three step-brothers one daughter, Arlene one grandson and his step-father.
