Buddinger, Estella (3 AUG 1903 - 31 AUG 1984)


Services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville on Sept. 4th for Mrs. George (Estella) S. Buddinger, 81, Route 4, Neillsville, Clark County. She died at 11:45 on Friday, Aug. 31, 1984 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, following a two week illness.

The Rev. Howard Ott of United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville Cemetery.

The former Estella Selves was born Aug. 3, 1903 in Randell, Minn., a daughter of the late Edward and Lottie (nee King) Selves. The family moved to Neillsville where she was educated and graduated from Neillsville High school in 1922. She taught school in the Town of York for two years.

On Nov. 7, 1923 she was married to George Buddinger at Neillsville. They farmed in the Town of York and observed their 60th wedding anniversary the past year.

Survivors include her husband one son, Douglas, Neillsville, and one sister, Nina Blackman of Neillsville.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford.
