Garfield, Hannah M. (12 AUG 1823 - 19 OCT 1889)

Died, In Neillsville, Clark County, Oct. 19, 1889, Mrs. Hannah M. Garfield, aged 66 years, 2 months and 7 days.

Hanna M. Tousley was born in Streetsborough, Conn., Aug. 12, 1823 moved from there to Ohio, where she was married to Moses A. Garfield. Soon after they moved to Rubicon, Wis., and finally moved to Clark County, where she spent the remainder of her days. She was the mother of twelve children, seven of whom are now living.

She survived her husband six years. During that period she has lived on the old homestead, until a few weeks ago she came to her daughter's to spend a few days, where she was taken sick and died. She has been a great sufferer for the past eight months, but was very patient to the last.
