Drescher, Nora (9 June 1888 - 21 November 1967)

Mrs. Otto Drescher, 79, of Sheboygan died November 21, at St. Nicholas Hospital there following a brief illness.

A native of the Town of Bloom (Richland County), the former Nora Allbaugh was born June 9, 1888, daughter of the late Adam and Mary Ellen Allbaugh. The family later moved to Clark County, where she attended the district grade school.

On November 3, 1921, she was married to Otto Drescher of the Town of Fremont (Clark County). The couple farmed in Clark County until moving to Sheboygan in 1941. Mr. Drescher is a retired employee of the former Arndt Bros. Company.

Mrs. Drescher was a member of the Fountain Park Evangelical United Brethren Church and its Gleaners Circle.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Ellen Drescher of Sheboygan; a brother, George Allbaugh of Neillsville; and a nephew, Harold Branch, who made his home with them and is now a major in the Air Force stationed in Hawaii. An infant son, Frank, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday from Fountain Park Evangelical United Brethren Church. The Rev. Owen Miller, pastor, officiated. Burial was made in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers all nephews, were: Milo Lindow, Samuel Drescher, Daniel Drescher, Vernon Lindow, Marlyn Lindow and Bill Schlinsog.
