Word has been received here of the death December 31, 1967, in Washington State of P. D. Peterson, 81, a native of Curtiss and one time resident of the Greenwood area.

W. H. Blum of Wenatchee, Wash., reported that Mr. Peterson died at the Roslyn-Cle Elum Hospital after being stricken at his home the day before.

Born on a homestead near Curtiss, Peterson attended schools at Greenwood; he graduated from Valley City Norman School and the University of North Dakota. He served as superintendent of schools at Minot, N. D., for five years; then attended the Palmer School of Chiropractic at Davenport, Ia., and practiced at Spring Valley, Minn., for 13 years.

Survivors are his wife, Lois; and a son, Lorin, who lives in Los Angeles, Calif.
