Windom, Theodore Elmer (7 August 1883 - 2 February 1968)

Theodore Elmer Windom, 84, of Greenwood, died Friday in Neillsville. Funeral services were held Monday from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood, with the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiating. Burial took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Mr. Windom was born August 7, 1883, in Melrose, the son of Throne and Mary (Halverson) Windom. He moved to North Dakota with his parents, where they lived for seven years before moving to Greenwood in 1920. They settled on a farm north of Greenwood and farmed until 1955, moving to Greenwood, where they resided since. Mr. Windom never married. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: three brothers, Lendo, Otto and Elmer, all of Greenwood; and three sisters, Mrs. Ivan (Mary) Hemminger of Holcombe, Miss Nelda Windom and Miss Helen Windom, both of Greenwood.
