Greenwood (22 February 1968)

Mrs. Bruce Thiel underwent surgery Thursday at the hospital in Marshfield. Her husband also is a patient at the same hospital. He was taken there by ambulance early Sunday morning after being in a car accident near Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Severson, Mrs. Melvin Thomas, Mrs. Geneva Olson, Robert and Debra Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thomas, Ralph Thomas, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pasch attended the wedding of Danny Olson and Patricia McPherson in Milwaukee Saturday and returned here Sunday.

Mrs. John Zepaltas entertained Sunday in honor of the tenth birthday of her son, Thomas, and the seventh birthday of her daughter, Kathy, who were both born on February 18. Friends of both were entertained at a theatre party and supper later at the Zepaltas home.

Larry Stabnow returned to Kirkland, Wash., after spending a week with his father, Walter Stabnow and other relatives here and in Neillsville.

Mrs. Catherine Lindner left Sunday for Milwaukee. From there she will accompany her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindner, on a trip to Washington, D. C.

Playmates attended a party Saturday afternoon in celebration of the fifth birthday of Randall Hinker, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Hinker. Games were played and supper was served.

The Rev. David Logue, Henry Horn and Hubert Horn visited Friday with Otto Horn, a hospital patient in Rochester, Minn. Mrs. Otto Horn, who had spent some time with her husband, returned with them.

Mr. and Mrs. O. N. Hagen of Wittenberg visited Thursday at the Robert Stewart home.

Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux and family were guests Sunday at the Mike Kowieski home in Auburndale.

Those who visited Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Their in Marshfield Sunday were Mrs. Mary Klune, Mrs. Johanna Horvat and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Klune and family of Merrill and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Tipton of Jefferson spent the weekend at the home of Mrs. Mary Klune and with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Stewart and family of Eau Claire were guests Sunday at the Robert Stewart home.
