Miss Margaret L. Ruff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ruff of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) became the bride of James G. Heinzen, son of Mrs. Lila Heinzen, Marshfield, on Saturday, May 9th, 1964 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp. Rev. Francis Brockman performed the ten a.m. ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length bouquet taffeta gown with chapel train. The bodice featured a round neckline and the bell-shaped skirt was accented by re-embroidered flower appliques studded with seed pearls. Her shoulder length bouffant veil was held with a forward rose and back bow and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses and lily of the valley.

Miss Sharon Cepress, Marshfield, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Miss Barbara Guel, Madison and Miss Marlene Hanson, Marshfield, also friends of the bride. They all wore floor length mint green gowns of Dacron polyester featuring a controlled skirt, scoop neckline, 3/4 length sleeves with a wide cummerbund at the waist and a flowing back panel. Their nylon tulle shoulder veil was held by a headpiece of nylon sheer forward rose. They carried bouquets of daisies, white mums and yellow gladiolas.

Miss Renee Heinzen, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid, and junior groomsman was Chas. Senn, Thorp, friend of the bride.

Mike Kramer, Milwaukee, friend of the groom, was best man, and groomsmen were Wm. Ruff, brother of the bride, and George Heinzen, brother of the groom. Ushers were Henry Ruff, brother of the bride, and Ed Ostrick, cousin of the groom.

A reception for 300 guests was held at the Thorp Finance Building and a dance in the evening at the American Legion Hall.

The bride, a graduate of Thorp High School and St. Joseph's School of X-ray Technology, Marshfield, is an X-Ray technician at St. Joseph's Hospita. The groom attended Columbus High School and is employed at Karau's Super Market, Marshfield.

After a wedding trip to the World Fair in New York, the couple is making their home at 500 N. Wood, Marshfield.

Out of town guests were from Minnesota, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Chicago, Boyd, Cadott, Bloomer, Sheboygan and La Crosse.
