The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Braun, Rosella Catherine Braun, a 1958 graduate Central State College, Stevens Point, was married to Reginald Patrick Buran, an attorney practicing in Manitowoc, Saturday morning, October 28 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church by Rev. Norbert E. King.

Miss Braun was presented to the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Buran of Manitowoc by her father in a floor length gown of silk taffeta with an elongated fitted bodice and bouffant skirt. The bouffant skirt was fashioned with wide overlapping panels at the back and the billowing veil of nylon illusion was secured to a queen’s crown of tiny rosebuds and pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white feathered mums centered with three white orchids.

Matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Joseph Picconi of Milwaukee and bridesmaids were Joan Dupuis of Waukesha and Sharon Braun, Chicago. They were dressed identically in street-length gowns of purple and lilac with fitted bodices of chiffon purple velvet. Styled with scoop necklines and bouffant bell-shaped skirts of lilac satin, each ensemble was completed with lilac feathered toque hats secured with halo veils of silk illusion. Each held a colonial bouquet of lilac and white feathered mums.

Best man was Al Lutterman of Manitowoc and Lloyd Elfner, Madison and Tom Braun, River Falls were groomsmen. Ronald Braun, River Falls and Dan Scherer, Manitowoc ushered.

Following the ceremony, a luncheon was served in the church parlors for members of the immediate families and close friends. A wedding reception was held there during the afternoon.

The bride has taught school in Manitowoc and this past year in Waukesha. Attorney Buran was graduated in 1958 from the Marquette Law School in Milwaukee. Following a honeymoon trip to Miami, Florida, the couple will make their home in Manitowoc.
