Joyce, Helen Ann (Marriage - 1 June 1968)

Miss Helen Ann Joyce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Joyce, Jr., of Greenwood, and Warren William Sachs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sachs, also of Greenwood, exchanged nuptial vows uniting them in marriage Saturday in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee.

Mrs. Herman Rabska played and Miss Sharon Heidemann sang as the bride entered the church with her father.

The bride chose a white floor-length gown fashioned with a skirt of sheer nylon with cut-away effect, with front lace ruffles. The back lace ruffles were made into a bustle. A Watteau train of lace and nylon studded with sequins was attached at her shoulders. The lace bodice featured a scoop neckline edged with sequins. A seed pearl and crystal headpiece held her four-tiered bouffant veil. Her bridal bouquet was made up of pink roses and white carnations.

Norene Sachs of Greenwood was her maid-of-honor. Serving as bridesmaid was Mrs. Donald Rogalski of Thorp. Each attendant wore a joy aqua gown of chiffon with coat trim. Their low-cut bodices were styled with scoop necklines. Pearl head-pieces (the balance of this wedding, was cut off from my copy, I am sorry).
