----------Pollatz, Anna (3 SEP 1905)

At the German Lutheran church last Sunday afternoon, Miss Anna Pollatz and Mr. G.A. Hess were united in marriage, Rev. B.F. Laukandt officiating.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ida, and Miss Susie Kotch of St. Paul. Best men were Will Roepke of Augusta and Frank Pollatz. The bride was becomingly attired in white taffeta silk and carried bridal roses. The church was decorated with house plants and flowers.

Afterward the bridal party and invited friends drove to the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pollatz, two miles northwest of the village, where a reception followed and supper was served. The evening was devoted to music, visiting, etc. The kindly feeling of many friends was evinced by the good wishes offered and numerous and valuable gifts.

Those from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Bartig and children and the Misses Minnie and Tillie Roepke of Augusta.

The Observer joins in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Hess a long and happy life.
