Fritsche, Arthur G. (April 4, 1942 - July 27, 2008)

 

Former Town of Little Black resident Arthur G. Fritsche, 85, Dorchester, died Sunday, July 27 in the emergency room at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been taken earlier by ambulance.

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, with Rev. James H. Babler officiating. Interment will be at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Stetsonville.

 

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Steve (Carolyn) of Milwaukee and Tom (Sue) of Antigo; two daughters-in-law, Sandy Fritsche and Shirley Fritsche, both of Wausau; two sisters, Arlene Decker of Chippewa Falls and Beverly Hoffman of Stetsonville; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Allen in 2005; a sister, Lenore Fischer; and a brother, Gilbert.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church organ fund.
