Beller, Colleen Althea (July 16, 1926 - October 1, 2009)
Colleen Althea Beller, 83, Woodruff, died Thursday, Oct. 1 at Dr. Kate's
Nursing Home in Woodruff. A funeral mass was held Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Holy
Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, with Father James Hoffman officiating.
Burial was at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Woodruff.
The former Colleen Schwartz was born July 16, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minn., to
the late Albert William and Elsia Lee "Cleo" (Harlowe) Schwartz. In 1931 the
family moved to the family farm in Medford where she grew up and attended
school. She also attended Marvel Beauty School in Milwaukee.
On September 24, 1949 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Minocqua, she
married Rudolph Peter Beller, who preceded her in death. She worked as a
beautician, and eventually had her own shop in her home in Woodruff. She
enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Ann Beller of Tomahawk; a sister,
Joanne Gebert of Loudon, Tenn.; a brother Harlow (Marilyn) of Medford; and
nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two
children, Michael and Lynette Beller.
Bolger Funeral Home of Minocqua and Woodruff assisted the family with
