Freeck, Ervin W. (July 2, 1922 - September 18, 2009)  

 

Ervin W. Freeck, 87, died Friday, Sept. 18 in Billings, Mont. No services will be held. 

 

Ervin Freeck was born July 2, 1922 in Medford to the late Charlie and Della Freeck.  

 

He attended Medford schools. He worked at International Harvester Company in Milwaukee, then joined the United States Army and served at the Presidio in San Francisco, Calif., during World War II with the medical corp. 

 

On September 29, 1951 in Billings, he married Delores Leonardi, who survives. In 1945 he began working for Greyhound Corporation where he was a driver for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. 

 

In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Randy (Laurie); a sister, Liddy Pinch of Medford; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Harold; and two sisters, Gladys and Florence. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice, Northern Rockies Radiation Oncology Center or a charity of the donor's choice.  

 

Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary of Billings assisted the family with arrangements.
