Fleischmann, Edward J. (21 Mar. 1932 16 Aug. 1999)

Medford native Edward J. Fleischmann, 67, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Monday, August 16. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 19, at Holy Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Wicker officiating.

Interment was held in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs.

Edward J. Fleischmann was born March 21, 1932, in Medford to Fred and Elizabeth (Hirt) Fleischmann. His marriage to Marilyn Schubert took place on November 5, 1955, at Holy Rosary Church in Medford.

He was an authenticator for the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs.

Survivors include his wife; five sons, Douglas, Bruce (Deanna), Brian (Cathy), Kevin, and Craig (Victoria) Fleischmann; one brother, Walter Fleischmann of Milwaukee; five sisters, Mary Lou Sauer of Lyndon Station, Bernice (Leon) Tlusty of Medford, Frances (Philip) Becher of Winona, Minn., Ethel (Gene) Kalmon of Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Betsy (Jerry) Koch of Westboro; a brother-in-law, Winston Jochimsen of Medford; his father-in-law, William Schubert of Denver; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Mabel Schubert; two sisters, Janet Jochimsen and Margaret in infancy; one brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Dorothy Fleischmann; a brother-in-law, George Sauer; and a sister-in-law, Millie Fleischmann.
