Miss Clementine Witalis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Witalis of Lublin, became the bride of Carl W. Henderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Henderson, Sr., of Harvey, Ill., in a ceremony performed by Rev. E. Knopka, at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin at two o’clock in the afternoon on June 30th, 1951. The couple was attended by Donald Henderson and Doris Witalis, with Wm. Freeck of Chicago and Marcella Witalis as second attending couple.

The bride was attired ina Queen Victoria gown of ivory satin with pointed sleeves and a peplum edged with Chantilly lace. The lace also made up the rolled Victoria collar. Her fingertip veil of French illusion edged in Chantilly lace was attached to a beaded tiara and she wore a necklace with matching earrings. Her bouquet was of white carnations centered with an orchid.

The groom and his attendants wore white dinner coats and dark trousers.

The bridesmaids were attired in dresses of white taffeta and nylon. The bodice was of taffeta with billowy nylon skirts over taffeta and they carried bouquets of red carnations.

The bride’s mother wore navy blue with white and blue accessories and the groom’s mother wore a pink dress with white accessories. Both wore corsage of red tea roses.

A reception was held at Marion’s Hall near Lublin, attended by 120 guests.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon on a trip to Canada and are now residing at Harvey, Ill., where the groom is employed as a tile applicator.
