Pawlicki, Adam J. (22 Aug. 1918 - 7 Feb. 2009)

Adam J. Pawlicki, 90, of Lublin, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at his daughter's home under the care of hospice.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lublin. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at Thorp Funeral Home, with a 7:15 p.m. rosary service and a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. It will be held again from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at the church.

He was born Aug. 22, 1918, in Lublin, to Leo and Katherin (Pollack) Pawlicki. He was married to Mary A. Slomka on Nov. 15, 1958, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm until they retired in 1980.

He is survived by one daughter, Sallie (Larry) Leopold of Park Falls; two grandchildren; sister Minnie (Leonard) Nichols of Gilman; and brother Louis Pawlicki of Chippewa Falls.

A memorial may be made to Flambeau Home Health and Hospice, Phillipis, or to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
