Plath, Jeffrey (1 Apr. 1964 - 30 Dec. 2004)

Jeffrey V. Plath, 40, died in the emergency room of Saint Joseph's Hospital, December 30, 2004.

Memorial Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wed. at the Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Brandt will officiate. Private family interment of ashes will be at a later date.

Friends may call from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home Wed..

Jeffrey V. Plath was born April 1, 1964 at Saint Joseph's Hospital, to Betty (Moen) and the late Vernon C. Plath. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1984. Jeff was a Baker for more than 20 years. He started his career at the Rocky Rocco and then worked at the Copps/Pick 'n Save bakery in Marshfield until his death. In 1996 Jeff was married to the former Michelle Paschel. They later divorced.

Mr. Plath had many interests including collecting hats, bowling, playing the drums, following the Packers and Nascar. He was quick to have a converSat.n about his GMC Diablo or other classic and antique cars. His favorite hobby was "Miniature Railroading." Jeff was a true enthusiast. He would spend hours with close friend Keith Meacham whom he called a "brother," building railroad sets.

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Betty of Marshfield; two sisters: Karen Kalson of Mosinee and Luane (Michael) Lucht of Spencer, and one brother: Terry (Dawn) Plath of Marshfield.

His father, Vernon and grandparents, Herman and Erna Plath and Laura and Tollef Moen predecease Mr. Plath.
