He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he shared that passion with his children, grandchildren and friends. Dale was an avid Minnesota sports fan and listened to the Minneapolis AM radio station every day. His pride and joy was his cabin in Phillips, where he always made pancakes for breakfast. He woke up at dawn to have coffee with his friends. He dearly loved his children, grandchildren and wife of nearly 46 years, Joey.

He was a former member of the Marshfield Elks Lodge No. 665, Marshfield Eagles Club No. 624 and Sportsmen's Clubs in Marshfield. He also played on softball and bowling leagues in town.

He is survived by his wife, Joey, and four children: Terry (Tricia) Mulholland of Appleton; D. Lance (Kari) Mulholland of Ladysmith; Jason (Tricia) Mulholland of La Crosse; and Megan (Matthew) Wilcox of Black Creek.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Bailey, Brenna and Blair Mulholland; Zachary Mulholland; Morgan and Kaylee Mulholland; and Brandon and Madison Wilcox.

He is further survived by a brother, Cecil (Gerry) Mulholland of Albert Lea, Minn., and three sisters, Carole (Gordie) Dahl of Stewartville, Minn.; Nancy (Ron) Kreinbring of Rochester, Minn.; and Laurie (Terry) Hansen of Zumbro Falls, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents.
