Kundinger, Mr./Mrs. Al (50th Anniv. - 30 Sept. 2008)
Al and Carol Kundinger of Marshfield celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sept. 27, 2008. They attended Mass at St. Michaelís Catholic Church in Hewitt, followed by a dinner and reception at the Town of Marshfield Hall. One of their original wedding attendants is deceased. All of the others attended the celebration.
They were married Sept. 30, 1958, at St. Johnís Parish in Marshfield, with Rev. Leisle officiating.
Al was born June 18, 1934. He attended St. Killianís School in Blenker and is a graduate of Mid-State Technical College. He served in the military from August 1956 to August 1958, including being stationed in Germany for more than a year.
The former Carol Miller was born Sept. 30, 1939. She attended St. Johnís School and Columbus High School in Marshfield, and Mid-State Technical College, earning her high school equivalency degree.
The retired couple are members of St. Johnís Parish in Marshfield.
They have five daughters, Debra (Steve) Mueller, Vicki (Darren) Franke, Linda (Ben) Beaudry, Bonnie Kundinger and Amy Kundinger; and three sons, Steve (Sheila) Kundinger, Jim (Tania) Kundinger and Dennis Kundinger. They also have 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
