Benish, Ludmilla (6 Mar. 1902 - 25 Mar. 1979)

MILLADORE - Ludmilla Benish, 77, Milladore, died at 11:35 p.m. Sun. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

A concelebrated Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thur. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wed. at Dzikowski Funeral Home, Stevens Point. A Bible vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wed. followed by a general rosary at 7:45. There will be visitation at the church from noon until time of services Thur..

She was born March 6, 1902 at Milladore to Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Benish. She attended Milladore schools and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in education.

She taught in grade schools in the town of Carson, Junction City and the past 11 years at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Stevens Point.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Warnecke of Route 1, Milladore, a grandson; a brother, Alfons of Milladore; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Thompson of Kewaunee and Mrs. Helen Stashek of Milladore. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother and a sister.
