James F. Edwards IV, 15, of Marshfield died Sat. Nov. 22, 2008, as the result of an airplane accident.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Sat. Nov. 29, 2008, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield.
Visitations will be from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Fri. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, and again Sat. at the church from 9 a.m., until service time.
Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) of Marshfield is assisting the family with the arrangements.

James F. Edwards IV, 15, of Marshfield, died Sat. Nov. 22, 2008, as the result of an airplane accident.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Sat. Nov. 29, 2008, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield with the Rev. Don Meuret officiating. Tom Zimmerman will provide the music for the services along with Amanda Kraus as choir director.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven with Kaden Prickett, Paul Selz, Kyle Olson, Jared Boyle, Taylor Moon and Jordan Derfus serving as the pallbearers.
Visitations will be from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Fri., Nov. 28, 2008, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and again from 9 a.m. until service time Sat. at the church. There will be a Knights of Columbus rosary service at 6:30 p.m. Fri. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Jim was born Dec. 29, 1992, to James F. Edwards III and Janelle L. (Monear) Edwards in Marshfield.
Jimmy was a sophomore at Marshfield Columbus High School. He had a smile that could light up a room. His friends described him as the life of the party. Jimmy was known as a friend you could also count on. He had the ability to lift the spirits of his friends in troubled times. Jimmy was active in a variety of sports and school activities. He was a natural leader. He is the first and only hockey player in the history of Columbus High School, thanks to a co-op with Mosinee High School. He played high school baseball. His interests included golf, computers, music and spending time with his friends. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Janelle and two brothers, Jonathan and Justin Edwards all of Marshfield; paternal grandparents, James and Joyce Edwards of Mosinee; maternal grandparents, Robert Monear of Plover and Sharon Monear of Wausau; and maternal great-grandmother, Eileen Monear of Stevens Point.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James F. Edwards III; brother, Joshua; and maternal great-grandfather.
The family has requested that any memorial donations be made to the Marshfield Area Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Funds.
